Matcha Whisk Bamboo 100 Prong

A traditional bamboo whisk used for preparing matcha.

Each handcrafted chasen is made from a single piece of natural bamboo, carefully split into fine, delicate bristles.

Featuring approximately 81–95 prongs, this whisk is designed to create a smooth, creamy froth. While a standard chasen typically has around 70 prongs, the higher number of bristles produces a finer foam, making it easier to whisk matcha to the ideal consistency, even for beginners.

How to use: Before whisking, soak the chasen briefly in hot water to soften the bamboo and allow the bristles to open. This helps protect the whisk and allows it to create a smooth, light froth as the matcha powder is blended with water.
